“Placemaking CEE connects practitioners interested in issues across Central and Eastern Europe. We work on the places our countries share: apartment blocks, inner courtyards, post-industrial towns.
We make sure CEE is present in placemaking practice and policy through monthly calls, communities of practice and joint EU projects.
Placemaking Germany
Placemaking Germany was founded after Placemaking Week Europe 2025 to connect a growing but fragmented scene in Germany. With strong motivation already there, the network creates a platform for exchange, collaboration and visibility through events, education, joint projects and meetups.
