Placemaking Sweden is an independent national network dedicated to promoting and sharing knowledge about placemaking and co-creation as approaches to creating, developing and managing vibrant places and cities across Sweden.
Our ambition is to bring together a diverse community of people who share a passion for placemaking. The network provides a platform for connection, knowledge exchange, collaboration and innovation between professionals, communities, organizations and others interested in shaping better places.
Through events, conversations, knowledge sharing, collaboration and site visits to different cities and places across Sweden, we aim to strengthen the understanding and practice of placemaking, experience projects and approaches firsthand, inspire new collaborations and create opportunities to learn from each other.
We believe that great places are created together and that collaboration and co-creation are essential for building inclusive, vibrant and people-centered cities and communities.
