Last edition of Placemaking Week Europe was a blast.
Placemaking Week Europe is Europe’s founding and largest placemaking festival. In the spirit of collaboration and inspiration, over 400 practitioners meet every year to share knowledge, learn and network.
Past editions
The host of the fifth edition was the city of Pontevedra in Spain. A place that for the last twenty years has been an example of how to organise a city around people.
Approximately 400 placemakers, a diverse mixture of professionals working on creating a better public space and city at eye level, met in Valencia from June 12th-15th 2019.
“Cities for All: Gentrification, Public Space, and the Tools of Placemaking”. A conference in support of the launch of the new European Placemaking Network.
Placemaking Week 2017 offered an exciting programme of learning and networking October 10–14, 2017 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
