The working waterfront: what Cape Town’s V&A gets right

The V&A Waterfront in Cape Town may be the best waterfront I have visited. If we think about uses, programming and governance, they seem to have nailed the model: a globally recognised destination that has transformed over decades without giving up its maritime character.
