Milestone 8: Making Placemaking Systemic
The workshop finalized methods to embed placemaking into city governance, policies, and planning systems. Participants developed action plans for long-term integration in their cities and reflected on the outcomes of the two-year Cities in Placemaking 2023–2024 program. The result was the Agenda for Making Placemaking Systemic, a framework proposing concrete steps to integrate placemaking into broader urban governance and ensure its lasting impact across participating cities.
