10 July All day
Calling creatives, researchers and urbanists. Cyprus is waiting for you. Apply by July 10th!
Opu Collective is opening up a residency for a team of 4 to co-create something special: a living, digital map of Agioi Omologites, a neighbourhood in the heart of Nicosia.
Not just any map. One built through walks, conversations, and stories gathered straight from the people who call this place home. The kind of map that helps locals feel seen and gives visitors a reason to wander off the main path.
They’re looking for:
– A Graphic Designer
– A Multimedia Designer
– A Sociologist / Historian / Geographer
– An Urbanist
Where: OPU House, Agioi Omologites, Nicosia
Residency dates: 7 September to 23 October 2026
Apply by: 10 July
Results announced: 17 July
Open to anyone currently based outside Cyprus, in a Creative Europe country. Mentored by Commongrounds Studio and funded by Culture Moves Europe, covering travel, accommodation, daily allowance, and accessibility/family support where needed.
If you’ve ever wanted to dig into a neighbourhood’s everyday rhythms and turn them into something people actually use, this is it. Tag someone who’d be perfect for this team.
