Join us in Trenčín for Placemaking Days, a 2.5-day gathering bringing together placemakers, cultural practitioners, communities, municipalities and international experts to explore how placemaking and culture can create the conditions for trust to grow.

From an unexpected encounter between strangers, to learning the name of a neighbour, to having a real voice in shaping the city. We will explore how everyday experiences in public space can strengthen relationships, participation and democratic life.

Expect conversations, workshops, urban walks, local stories, cultural experiences and opportunities to connect — with Trenčín itself as an inspiring setting and laboratory, and as the 2026 European Capital of Culture.
