This edition, our training will take place in Bankside, London—a compelling case study in urban regeneration. Once a faded industrial area, Bankside has transformed over the last 25 years into a vibrant, mixed-use hub. Today, it serves as a unique meeting point where global corporate headquarters, cultural icons like Tate Modern and Shakespeare’s Globe, and local residential communities intersect.

Working in close partnership with Better Bankside—the UK’s longest-standing Business Improvement District—we will explore how to navigate the challenges of rapid development, crowd management, and the creation of inclusive public spaces. Bankside offers an unparalleled backdrop for examining how placemaking, creative curation, and community-led strategies can shape the future of a dense, evolving city.
