We are aware of the multitalented character of our community and therefore would love to give those already coming to Placemaking Week Europe the chance to co-create the evening program too — as a DJ or musician. We have multiple 1-hour DJing slots available for Placemaking Week Europe attendees for takeover each night. On Thursday night musicians attending the festival are welcome at the “Crazy Club Jamm Session”.
If this sounds like your calling and you are already coming to Placemaking Week Europe 2026 in Wroclaw, please fill in this short form as soon as possible but not later than 31.8.2026 and we will be in touch with you in September. There are no artist fees tied to the jamm session. There is a 200€ fee available for a DJ set.
Most of the evening program will take place in the Ruska 46 area, lit by the legendary neon signs,it is a place that brings together cultural organisations, art galleries, music bands, clubs, theatres, NGOs and freelance artists who have their headquarters or studios here.
Starting with a bingo game on Wednesday – a social evening with a slightly tongue-in-cheek twist — bingo with humor, unusual categories, small prizes, and a relaxed atmosphere. Followed by a Neon Fever, an ’80s-inspired party and the Open Decks Connection presenting the DJs from the placemaking community.
On Thursday we will come back to Ruska 46 for a Karaoke All Night Long. A laid-back karaoke night — from the biggest hits to the most unexpected guilty pleasures. We want to create an evening that naturally turns strangers into a group of people singing choruses together at 3 AM. The musicians of the festival will gather a bit later for the Crazy Club Jamm Session. A jam session format that has been successfully tested many times at Recepcja, organized in collaboration with our neighbors from Klub Szalonych.
The Friday finale will take the form of a Draglesque Show. An evening combining drag and burlesque performances — full of expression, humor, theatrical exaggeration, and aesthetic chaos in the best possible sense. Preceding the Draglesque show will be a neighborhood gathering with various activities including a Ukrainian choir concert.
