In the latest episode, “Place to Be” launches a new mini-series called “The City at Eye Level” featuring Hans Karssenberg, an urban planner and partner at Stipo with over 30 years of experience. Hans unpacks how cities can prioritize human experiences while fostering social interaction and balancing people’s needs with public spaces.

The discussion centers on what makes places feel alive, highlighting the importance of building trust, engaging communities, and designing for emotional and social needs. Hans introduces practical frameworks like software, hardware, and orgware, offering actionable insights for shifting from traditional planning to collaborative city-building that puts people first.
