Placemaking Europe is excited to be a Porch Placemaking Week Activator. In light of COVID-19 restrictions, our space for interaction has shrunk dramatically as people are confined to the borders of their properties. But, whilst we’re physically distant, we can remain socially connected.
Porch placemaking is network of self-organised projects around the world taking place. Its being led and promoted by a network of placemakers globally, and implemented by people like you.
Porch Placemaking is about taking action and bringing people together (from a safe distance) by activating your front porch (or balcony, front yard, stoop or driveway) between May 30th and June 5th 2020.
Simply put, the project is about connecting with neighbours through small scale, tactical projects.
