Olga is an architect and urban geographer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture and urban planning from Warsaw University of Technology and a master’s degree in human geography from Utrecht University. In her professional life, she has always been concerned with public space and social interactions. This is what led her to STIPO and Placemaking Europe. She is a Communications and Design Lead, and is currently involved in the preparation of Placemaking Week Europe and Park[ing] Day for Fitness. Additionally, she curates a toolbox and helps placemakers create new placemaking manuals. Olga aims to combine research, communication and design skills to work for more social and healthier cities. She is keen to get involved in projects related to citizen well-being, urban loneliness, migration or soundscapes, especially looking for solutions in hardware transformations. She would also like to promote the concept of placemaking in architectural education.
