Describe one of the projects you are most proud of
"""Plaza de Bolsillo Santo Domingo""
The co-creation of a pocket park in the social housing project ""Ciudad Juan Bosch"" in Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic. The new residential project will be home to 1250.000 people, but so far has no public spaces created. We constructed this 800m2 pocket park in only one week with the participation of local neighbours, students of architecture, volunteers and the architects of Ciudad de Bolsillo and BASE Studio. The “plaza de Bolsillo” serves as a stage for public life to happen in this new cities, where its pioneer residents get to know each other and create their own identity with cultural activities, sports, games and – we are in Dominican Republic – music and dancing!"
