The Child-friendly City working group of Placemaking Europe is collectively developing a research project to explore the friendliness level of European cities from children perspective.
At the moment, the group is creating a pilot project to test in different cities. The aim is to directly involve children from the age of 6 to12 years old to understand what is their point of view about public space in their cities.
The project uses the current lockdown situation as a mean to engage children in a moment of reflection about their way of interaction with public areas before the confinement and to imagine what will happen later in their cities.
