Reimagining Urban Retail Districts is inviting everyone for their next working group session that will take place on June 2nd at 16:00 CET. During this session we will be joined by international advisor on cities, Charles Landry, and Camden business improvement district Operations Manager, Hasanul Hoque.

We will be hearing about the award winning business improvement district of Camden with Hasanul and its entrepreneurial and innovative approach that led to its success over the years. Also, the challenges and opportunities the post pandemic recover has created in the district.

Together with Charles Landry we will discuss some of the friction of the 'Creative Bureaucracy' related to our high streets and cities. Finding the balance between the need to re-invent, experiment and innovate versus the regulatory boundaries and need to loosen these rules. The post pandemic recovery also presents opportunities for our cities and high streets with the need to adapt, yet is this need truly recognized by the City regulators and organizational structures that exist? Are they willing to be flexible?
