If placemaking is about the art of creating social, fun, and sometimes unexpected meeting places, then meetings about placemaking should deliver all of these! In the fall of 2019, Nabolagshager had some of Europe's foremost experts in placemaking visiting, so we invited them to all share beers in the presence of inspiring fast-round presentations of the most inspiring public space and placemaking projects from Oslo city makers. Some of these international experts also partook to the stage with the Oslo locals - a wonderful moment to share ideas across contexts. With ten minutes each to talk, the idea was to create inspiration from people who actually make change happen! The setting provided the perfect space to informally socialise with others who also love the city and are happy to help make it even better.

The event was wildly successful with over 60 people attending, having a drink, listening, and sharing ideas with those around them. Nabolagshager plans to continue to host the event a couple times a year in order to maintain excitement and energy around placemaking in Oslo.
