The aim of this workshop, while collaborating with international designers, civil servants and other organisations, was to work on the Zamenhofa Residential Area – Opata Hackiego. The residents, municipality, and UrbanLab Gdynia sought to answer - How can we create cities that are able to change with the seasons to fit both the needs of the places and the people using them?
And further - How can placemaking tools assist in this quest?!
Involved municipal units were: Social Innovation Lab (SIL) and the Zarząd Budynków i Lokali Komunalnych (Municipal Building and Premises Management Board). Special thanks to Magdalena Żółkiewicz from UrbanLab Gdynia for assistance in reporting these results.
