Placemaking Europe is excited to present a curated webinar all about place led development. We, as a network of connected and diverse public space actors, are keen to further uncover - how to move from temporary interventions to structural development that inclusively considers the place and users? This webinar has been planned in order to keep us connected and sharing inspiration during this challenging time. Let's stay positive, motivated, and use this time to make strides forward for our goal to make cities more sustainable and liveable.
This first webinar, hosted by Placemaking Europe, focuses on the theme Place Led Development with Hans Karssenberg from STIPO. Place Led Development is an important strategy within the network that we develop with placemakers, cities, and market parties on transforming placemaking from temporary interventions into more structural and fundamental urban development. We will also speak to our publication, in collaboration with HUNK-design/HUNC, all about this topic. You can access this publication - CREATING VIBRANT COMMUNITIES & HUMAN SCALED AREAS with this link https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/1vTNKeBN7G1yBu4Motf_xgxhhbzzxRtjv.
Importantly, we will also present the leading new models for development inspired by places themselves during this webinar.
As such, we are currently gathering knowledge on Place Led Development, especially looking for innovative models and expert knowledge! To broaden our breadth of knowledge, we kindly ask you to please share your insights about Place Led Development with us by filling in this fun and brief questionnaire:

We will share the first results of the questionnaire during the webinar on the 8th of April.
