Nils Peters is an urbanist and urban planner in Vienna, Austria. He is working for the Smart City Wien Project Unit at the Municipal Department for Urban Development and Planning. Nils studied Urban and Regional Planning at the Bauhaus-University Weimar, Germany and the TU Vienna, Austria. So far his research focused on the impacts of digitization on public space and mobility transition.
Describe the main aspect of PlaceCity that you are most proud about?
The tools of placemaking can support communities to negotiate public space and help to understand which public spaces are approved or rejected. That's why placemaking has got the potential to enable and encourage a dialog between neighbours.
