I am landscape architect holding a PhD in urban planning, working as project manager and research fellow at IPoP - Institute for Spatial Policies which is an advisory, research and non-governmental organization supporting local communities on our way towards sustainable urban development. I have thirty years of experience in spatial and urban planning, large scale interdisciplinary projects, studies, competitions and small landscape designs. I’ve been researching system of urban green space planning and management, closely following the cases of playgrounds, urban gardens, cemeteries and urban trees. I am a big advocate of participation, good communicator and experienced moderator of public debates. Recently I work at the cross sections of urban regeneration, active mobility, urban health, sustainable development and climate change.

IPoP deals with participation, walking, space creation, parking and urban policy, including housing and public space in the frame of sustainable development and climate change.
IPoP is a reliable, responsible and highly qualified project partner, known for its professional competences in methodology and practice of participation, well connected with actors at various levels, good event organizer, committed to project goals and agreements.
I am currently very proud of at least two of our projects, both of them are interesting ongoing cases of placemaking practice. In the first one: Vsi v mesto! We deal with the challenge of urban regeneration of a small town Kočevje in the southeastern part of Slovenia. We work closely with the municipality and local group of actors and involve the citizens from the very beginning as well so as to build common understanding and interest for a long-term cooperation in the development of new programs and arrangements. In the second project "Active travel to school and healthy city" we work with the support of the Ministry of Health on three activities: supporting organized walking and cycling of children to school, testing the process of preparation of local walkability plan and developing an educational program on the planning of healthy urban environment.
