Currently working for a small foundation, engaged in spatial and social projects. My major field of interests is discovering the ways of effective engagement of different users into planning processes. I try to stay up to date with different ideas developing around the world and am very present in the new, interesting cases happening in Warsaw. Here, residents are still only learning of the importance of participation, so the city tries to be innovative to reach out to greater number of people.
Which additional experience/skills can people of Placemaking Europe reach out personally to you for?
I cope well with communating with different people, also in the cases where spatial conflicts occure. There are many projects where different stakeholders have different needs and visions for the given area. There are also many solutions for how to lead the process in a way to avoid the growing conflicts and mitigate them.
I like to work with kids and engage them in the planning processes in fun and innovative ways.

How the City Works operate in various fields of planning. We have experience in strengthening local communities and creating places which favour meetings and social interactions. We also specialize in creating places adapted to seniors as well as in engaging the seniors into planning processes. We have experience in research of public spaces, especially in terms of accessibility for people with limited mobility. Lastly, we have experience in education about how the city works, adjusted to both kids and adults.
Describe one of the projects you are most proud of
I coordinated a project Garden Playground: planning and then building natural playgrounds with local communities. Residents could submit their location proposals, out of which we chose 5 places. On the first meeting we worked on the projects of gardens with the residents and artist, we walked around the area, constructed some simple examples from plastic materials. On the second meeting, we built the playgrounds from the provided materials (stones, trunks, wicker). Lastly, there were educational workshops at the spots, concerning topics of nature or teaching how to built a swing, how to care about plants etc.
