Juliet is currently Director of Events and Education for Project for Public Spaces in NYC, where she enjoys bringing together practitioners, academics and activists alike to share their knowledge and experience. She is an urban geographer from Los Angeles, who obtained her MSc and PhD from Kings College London where her research focused specifically on the process of gentrification. She recently published a chapter in the Handbook of Gentrification Studies (Lees and Phillips, 2018), and she has participated in a variety of research projects in both Europe and the U.S. focusing on the process of neighborhood change.
