Christina Lengauer is a philologist and anthropologist in Vienna, Austria. She studied german philology and cultural and social anthropology at the University of Vienna. Her research focused on the anthropology of climate change and anthropocene narratives.
She is working at the Municipal Department for Urban Development and Planning. In her everyday work she focuses on communication agendas for different european funding projects as well as the further development and dissemination of the smart city vienna framework strategy.

Placemaking awakens ideas and potential - by encouraging people to help shape their neighbourhood, placemaking builds community and gives a glimpse of how public spaces could function as areas for creativity, community and recreation.
