Help us to develop a placemaking wiki. One of our friends in building a placemaking toolbox is Placemaking Europe leader Michael Mehaffy. Mehaffy (Future of Places Research Center) and Ward Cunningham (the inventor of Wiki) bring the Wiki approach to placemaking. Together they are working to use new wiki techniques for placemaking. The developing wiki platform (and associated Pattern Language document) looks at how we can build tools and toolkits to share and develop on an open-source platform. To be able to do so, they are asking for your feedback. The best method to help is to have a look at the short film and read their draft on pattern language of growing regions. Please share your thoughts with Michael Mehaffy (michael.mehaffy@gmail.com) himself and Jeroen Laven (jeroen.laven@stipo.nl).
Michael Mehaffy is an urbanist, architectural theorist, urban philosopher, researcher, and educator active at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, the Sustasis Foundation, and the Future of Places Research Network.
Ward Cunningham is active as a software developer and is the inventor of the wiki concept.
